Ask our global Scotch whisky-loving community to vote. Our aim, once more, is that this fully independent model celebrates the best quality, value and accessibility in whisky. The 2025 OSWAs will launch on September 4th on the vPub. You can catch up our latest videos below:

The 2025 OSWAs ahead
The format used previously will stay the same. At first, we will canvass the community to assist in the nominations process; shifting everyone’s involvement up front and throughout. The community inspires the picks! After which, it’s over to the familiar structure of curation and public vote. The same as previous years.
You cannot pay to enter these awards. We do not accept bottles or samples. These awards are chosen by the community and celebrate the whiskies we are enjoying together.
The Trifecta Award
INTRODUCED FROM 2024
In 2023 we announced the Trifecta Award. This comes into play from 2024. This award recognises the incredible achievements of brands, products or producers who have won a category for three consecutive years.
They are invited to step forward in the fourth year and automatically receive their Trifecta Award, while announcing the successful winner of that category in their absence.
In 2025, there are no valid candidates for Trifecta Awards. It’s wide open once more.
