About Aqvavitae

Roy started his YouTube presence in 2017 based on original ideas to share whisky-knowledge concepts, blind tasting collaboratives and a review series known as Recycled Reviews. The channel now also hosts a weekly whisky-themed, virtual-pub livestream, known as the “vPub”. It enjoys an active live participation as well as an engaged following on replay. These broadcasts cover various whisky topics through occasional solo presentations by Roy, as well as regularly featuring industry guests and community appearances.

Together with Ralfy, Roy co-founded the OSWA initiative in 2021.

In 2022 he launched the Dramface project, another fiercely independent source of whisky opinion and insight, with daily reviews, features, news and an accompanying podcast from a team of invested enthusiasts.
